We took a day while Rick's dad was in town to visit Michie Tavern (Ca. 1784). I haven't had that much fried chicken in my lifetime, but this has to be the best fried chicken around. And, wow, the best buttermilk biscuits, too!
And we visited Thomas Jefferson's Monticello, aka "Mommacello." When Andrew sees pictures of Jefferson's house on our computer he says, "There's Mommacello."

Brought back wonderful memories of the time we visited there. Do you remember there was a lightning storm during our visit? Was very cool. Love the pic of the big boy walking down the path. Cute boys, yes they are.
